I went to Lidle store this afternoon and a plant jumped into my trolley and wouldn't get out ! It had no label but looked like lots of seedlings sown into the same pot, and later on I found out they are Coffee plant seedlings

Eli, are you thinking of going into competition with the coffee shop chains now?

What are you going to do with them? Are you going to separate them & then pot them up individually? If they are coffee plants then you know I suppose that they won't be able to grow outside in the UK?

isn't it strange that plants have a habit of doing that when you're out shopping Interesting plants though

Thank you balc2 and grindle I used to have one several years ago but it wasn't a seedling when I bought it, so I didn't know what these were when I bought them. The one I had lasted many years, I put it outside in the summer and brought it indoors for the winter. I don't know what I'm going to do with all these, maybe I'll pot them up and when they're big enough I'll sell them for charity. I haven't got room for a plantation

Lovely shiny leaves Eli and looks well worth a place with your indoor plants. It was a risk well taken.

Eli You could grow them on for a year & then sell them for charity as you say! Perhaps you will get a run on them & make a decent amount for your chosen charity! I'm going to have to think what I'm going to do with my Dragon trees - I've at least half a dozen here in the living room & as many more in the kitchen!
