How old is your Wisteria Lou? I think it is about4/5 years old WF....My friend in Somerset layered it for me....after about a year and a bit, it was severed from the parent and potted up for transportation to Northumberland!...I've had it in a very large pot of well rotted manure and JI No 3; It flowered last year for the first time...it looked a bit strange....huge flower heads low down on a very small plant.......This year, more huge flower heads...such a gorgeous scent too....but at least a few flower heads are in bud higher up the plant. My aim is to grow it up the arch.....up the fence and along toward the house.....it looks feeble against your gorgeous plant....which must be in flower just now?.....a pic would be good ;D ;D

More flowers opening in the garden. The first maroon Iris. Another Lavandula stoechas. Cream lupins. Limnanthes douglasii - once you've got this, you've got it! First Helianthemum flower. This combination just caught my eye - Geranium phaeum with purple leaved Hazel.

There seem to be an amazing lot of flowers on the Wisteria considering it is only young yet. Lovely.
