I have 2 in pots Grindle, either side of the wee deck, or the sitooterie as we call it ;D The gorse was here when we moved in and is just plonked in the triangular bed at the bottom of the drive....i may have plans for that area ;D ;D

When we came here, there was a plant growing along the drystone wall that holds the 'bank' up - and dangling over the edge - about 8' along. It was very gorse-like, except that it never produced a single flower! I got OH to get rid of it - it was impossible to weed there. (OUCH!)

Gorse is very jabby G , it grows all over the place up here mixed in with the heather on the moors. It looks fab

Gorse is very jabby G , it grows all over the place up here mixed in with the heather on the moors. It looks fab not when you are crawling through it doing your basic training! Ouch!

A few more plants in flower at the moment. Bletilla striata Choisya 'Aztek Pearl' Melittis melissophyllum 'Royal Velvet Distinction' Iris sibirica Anemone leveillei Silene 'Firefly' - I love this plant.
