WF are you sure you are not just mischievous? No I'm afraid not, I'm finding it rather funny that I have so many plants on other peoples hit list. I just googled Kilmarnock Willow, now I'm laughing my socks off, I've got one of those too ;D

Certainly hits a nail or two with a few plants listed above though as said, virtually all in "the right situation" which may often mean as long as not in mine is fine This may surprise many but Verbena bonariensis doesn't quite do it for me. Don't get me wrong, it looks lovely mixed with a tall yellow like Fennel or Patrinia but on its own......I just look straight through it Lol

....oh and those awful multicoloured leaved Hebe's like Heartbreaker. Certainly lives up to its variety name that one as for the many people that buy it, they will be heartbroken after this last winter!

Cheal's Weeping Cherry (Prunus 'Kiku-Shidare-Sakura). I really do hate that "tree". What I do like about it, is that the flowers often go brown after wet weather and get a fungus on them that travels up the flower stalk and into the stem. The result, loads of dead bits of twigs. I'm disappointed that the fungus is not more aggressive and continues to kill that damned thing completely....

Just thought of two more on the way back from church - Leycesteria formosa - I really hate this one, and bright harsh yellow Forsythia, too. The paler ones are lovely, though.

I suspect that some people buy the heathers in ignorance of what they are! I don't like bulbs planted in straight lines, or 'dotted' about singly. Does that count? I hated the Juniper tree we had - it was prickly and the needles stuck in my hands when I weeded near it.

Most variegated plants. I only have a Pittosporum and Weigela florida which are variegated. Most variegated plants look sick to me.

Well - you certainly won't like a plant I have then Cherry! I'll say no more until it flowers.
