Do you remember that I was sold a wrongly-labelled Deutzia? Well - the real thing arrived today - 'Strawberry Fields'. It's a brilliant plant, and it's in flower. I won't be able to plant it until Friday, though. I'm very impressed with the Nursery's reaction to their mistake. ;D

Looks like Stransvesia davidii (Photinia davidii if you like). Thank you Steve, I do like to know what is growing in my garden so it has more of a chance of getting the right attention. I Goggled the two names and they sort of look right. This one has variegated leaves which start as green and white and then get splashes of red as they mature. The variegated leaves confirm it then as Stransvesia davidiana 'Pallette'. ps I said davidii for the species name, it should of course be davidiana

Goodness SteveN. I don't know if we can forgive you for getting the name so wrong. Stransvesia davidiana 'Pallette' (not davidii) ;D

They are lovely, and I must be wicked because when I read the title on the rose, it made me smile. No name, from Netto, but it is perfect with lovely leaves. I saw a lot of Johnson's Blue Geraniums today when I was out and they were stunning. They were quite a dark blue, and I wondered if the name was wrong. They were multi-headed. All your Geraniums are nice.

I've seen Johnson's blue darker or deeper than others, I wonder if the soil makes a difference?
