Sue that does look clever and it must have been a lot of hard work to do that.
What was the Barbara Hepworth Gallery like?

Sue that does look clever and it must have been a lot of hard work to do that. What was the Barbara Hepworth Gallery like? The building is pretty grim looking but the exhibitions are quite good, I love the curvy wooden pieces she made & there is a lot showing how she made things, tools from her studio etc., worth a visit if you like her work & the St. Ives artists, I don't know much about them, I'm just interested in art in general. The gallery is free though & there is a nice little cafe but the gallery building is in an odd place, nice views over the river from inside it but them just industrial units & busy roads.

The sunken barge is lovely, that sort of thing appeals to me. We used to cycle along the Grand canal and a number of the house boats has smaller garden boats in tow. I love Barbara Hepworth sculptures, one or two would be just the thing for my garden, when I win the lotto

I've watched them sculpting with chain saws, it is incredible what can be achieved, they are a bit too heavy and noisy for me.
