i was in south londen a few weeks ago and a flock of ringneck parakeets flew over seemingly there is that many now that the rspb class them as a native species

hi has any one heard of a dahlia book by phillip damp i just picked that up and a book called crythasths and dahlias its a wisley hand book i payed the princely sum of 2pounds 70 p for both am quite chuffed the pillip damp is a hard back i am goin to collect onsat

hi lou thats the problem i am a fan of the decs i am not to keen on colleretts amd poms but the decs are nice some of the people on here grow hundreds i read a post paul i think said he planted 800 he must have a field for an allotmeny i am just lookin for different varietys i suppose the trouble the season after next is what to do with all the tubers mind it would be nice to be in that position i can see me getting an allotment

im a newbie and i am confused now i thought i had saw the plants i wanted to grow for next year but you experts have so many varietys i dont know what varietys i want to gro i thibk some of u have football fields as allotments

the rest of the smalls and mediums and finally the giants They look good until you get close up Never mind, i'm pleased with what we've cut and i'll be showing lots of new varieties. Just a question of what goes where. I'll start planning that this afternoon as i get them ready for transporting to the show tonight.

hi just a qery i have stored my dahlia tubers in a frost free enviroment and cleaned then also taken the rags tails of and was told to drill the stem do i need to dust them with sulpher and if i have a greenhouse when do i set them away again and when do i take cuttuns from the tubers

i am new to keeping dahlias i read on the forum that some growers plant there the cutting in pots then put the pots in the ground why do they do that is it for ease of lifting or to keep the tubers small if so what size pot do u use also when u lift them again do u take them out of the pot and prepare them the sameway as u would when u lift them out of the ground or are they kept in the pots all the time as i say i am just a novice grower of dahlias

hi i am trying to find a few strains of dahlia for an old gentle man i have had a look at the ndc but can only source a few they arenationwide,evline foster,jesse g garden festival hamari katrina and danamatric also purple joy also can anybody tell me if surrey dahlias still exist i have tried lookin on the net but no joy any help would be great thanks

hi am lookin for some help a old gentleman where i live is lookind for some old variety dahlias i know one is nationwide will put the others on here later but nds and the other growers no longer stock them
