My latest tool . A powerful cordless telescopic hedge trimmer and chainsaw . The only problem is I can hardly hold it up it's so heavy. I might end up chopping up the neighbours by mistake ( That`s not me in the pic just the advert )

"That s my second question how do you kill a 30 foot leylandi"
Unfortunately the tree is in someone else's garden and it blocks loads of light into my kitchen . I`ve been looking at the cordless telescopic hedge trimmers and chainsaws VonHaus seem to have the best reviews overall but they just wont post over here , pity. Off the search again.... cant tell the kids they would have a fit if they knew what I was looking for

Just wondering if anyone has experience or recommendations for a telescopic hedge trimmer or chain saw ? I have a hateful bush arching over from my neighbours high fence about 2 meters up . The seeds germinate all over my garden and I have to pull up loads of seedling every year. At the minute I`m using a pole pruner from Lidl. I have to stand on a ladder and pull a string for each cut. the neighbour is an elderly man and I don't want to bother him but he cant even see the shrub as the hugh leylandii tree behind it hides . That s my second question how do you kill a 30 foot leylandi

planting , planting ,planting . I've left the greenhouse doors open lately and i hope this will help the "hardening off" process for some of the tougher flowers as I still haven't enough cold frames built. most of my planted marigolds have disappeared so the rest will be in pots with nightly patrols . I`m still sowing seeds and was delighted to find that fenugreek seeds bought in an indian supermarket are germinating hopefully fresh fenugreek for my indian quinine .

I potted up a lot of my tomatoes but they are in the cold greenhouse area with no bottom heat and haven't grown very much . I might put a few back in the propagator but space is limited and there are more flower seedling to prick out ... i think i might need another greenhouse.

Love you art SueA and lesley your very talented. I`ve yet to start but just got a lightbox flat thingy as a presy so I will be tracing my pics.
Seaburn your quilts are beautiful and brill that you were featured in the magazine . Do you top stitch by hand or machine ? How long would it take you to complete a large quilt.
