How about just putting it in the garden shed ? Actually... does the tuber need 'watering' occasionaly, or is it OK to let the soil completely dry out ? No...let the soil dry out completely.....NO watering. If it HAS to go in the shed, make sure the pot is well wrapped up with fleece or better still a hessian sack. Could it be kept indoors somewhere in a cool place?.....it won't survive if it gets frosted.

Well done Raymond.Back from Bishop Auckland society show with 5 firsts,2 seconds,5 thirds and bronze medal for runner up best exhibit with a vase of kenora challenger and 2 vases of eastwood moonlight.Phill Watson won the silver with challenger,gateshead festival and kiwi gkoria.I also won poms with gurtla,small ball with jomanda,small semi cactus with ruskin myra and small decs with our very own Tels birkenshaw wyns favourite beating phill watsons Gateshead festival.I even got a rosette for best gladioli in show.A great show with loads of entries.Iank also had a good show but is having computer problems and can,t get on at the moment. Another great set of results for you. Well done !! delighted to hear of your success with Wyn's Favourite. Tel will be chuffed to bits

No Tel wasn't there. Had arranged to meet him at the show a few weeks ago. He hasn't answered my PM either. Started to get a bit concerned to. I pm'd him last week and it hasn't been opened!! Hope he isn't ill....of course his 'puter might be down?....wonder if Cherry knows anything?

Yes, a tuber will have formed; yes it can be stored for next year. You can leave it in its pot; I find the soil/compost helps keep the tuber plump; they can be stored in trays in dry compost covered in fleece/newspapers in a FROST FREE environment. Any more info you need just ask Tubby..sorry I mean Roofy...lol

Apart from a bit of deadheading, and cutting some flowers for the house......nothing.......except sit and enjoy the garden, and the lovely sunny weather
