Finally got rid of the huge clematis that had taken over a whole bed and was out onto part of the lawn. I had to go at it bit by bit, cutting off 4-inch pieces with a secateurs. Filled five wheelie bin bags. Now have to clean up the mess it left behind.

Is it widely available, whisker? I haven't come across it before. Udos is widely available in health stores. It's usually kept in the chilling cabinet, in bottle or in capsule form. Buying the bottle is better value than buying the capsules. There's a lot written about it in book form and on the internet.

Waiting all day for it to stop raining. I started cutting back a huge clematis and would like to get a chance to clear it away.

Got my two lawns mowed. They are growing so strongly after the feed the lawn-care man spread!

Thank you, All for your kind comments. the oil I mentioned is Udos Oil or Udo's Choice. So I made a typo in the original mention of it. Udos helps a lot of conditions and has been known to grow hair for people who suffer from alopecia.

Cherry! Udos Oil goes by the name of Udo's Choice now. It is an oil mix that was invented by a guy called Udo Erasmus. It is very effective for joint pain and other things, used like olive oil. Available in health stores. Thanks, Everybody for your kind comments. I will be going to the Hospital for an Pre-Op appointment in a couple of weeks, where I will meet with a lot of the team involved, have blood tests, X-rays and information meetings. That will help me plan for the event.

That is not too long to wait whisker. I hope you are not feeling too much pain until the operation. Thank, you Cherry! That is so kind of you! Much appreciated! I am in a lot of pain, and have cut down on my social outings. Just remembered this morning that maybe I should be taking some Udos oil to deal with the pain. I have some in my fridge that I had forgotten about.

Fed the birds. Just thinking of doing something to tidy up my woodland bed under my massive copper beech. Earlier we had a great show of Welsh (yellow) poppies, before there were leaves on the tree, but now they are dying off because of the heavy shade.
