Thankyou Sue & to Sweetpea for volunteering Esther . Hello Ladym Sweetpea is naughty as he knows I am not keen on Poinsettias after having had to look after hundreds of them at work over the years I think Sue is right about treating them as an annual plant. To get the colouring back after the first year takes a bit of work by giving them certain amounts of daylight from about September and for me I wouldn't have the patience. If I was going to buy one - which I am not I would buy a fresh one each year.

Cherry that's so sad about the poor dog but hopefully she will get a good home now, it could have been a lot worse if nobody had spotted her & seen what happened! esther that is awful 'customer service' if it was too small a job for them at least he could have been polite & explained. Did you tell his boss, at the very least he/she would probably be annoyed that they didn't try to 'up-sell' you to a new fire installation! I did leave a complaint on their website but there was no response to it. If he had said sorry but he couldn't help I would have accepted it. I am really tempted to phone again and ask if he can be bothered today-

Thats shocking service Geranium. If I ever get shoddy anything and it's not sorted out properly I e mail the CEO of the company, it fair gets the job done. Your not kidding Lou78W, I saw Emma on a screen but you didn't get pictures or anything. How's this for shocking service then .... I phoned a company selling spares for boilers and gas appliances as we need a new glass front for our gas fire which is a few years old. I explained to the young man that we can't find the original use booklet and would it be any good me sending him photos of our fire. He said maybe he would be able to identify it then the phone went dead. I phoned back and said I had been cut off - He said " I couldn't be bothered !!" I said - "did you just say you couldn't be bothered ?" he said "yep"!!!!
