Lately I've been watching the fish in my small pond spawning. Every day I've been checking to see if I can spot any fry before the fish do, yesterday I found three, they are safely in a bowl of their own. They are about 2mm long at the moment.

Aww, bet you needed a magnifying glass to spot that W.F., what kind of fish is it?

It is a shubunkin, third generation.
When they get larger, I will catch all the large fish and take them to my local GS and replace them with the babies.

I'm not feeding them yet, I've put a lot of plants in with them so they will be finding their own food. When they get larger I crush the adults food up in a pestle and mortar.
These little things are so much easier than tropical fish.

I caught another two yesterday. I'm not sure how the original ones are doing, they are so small I haven't spotted them since putting them in the bowl.

I'm not too sure, I've spotted one quite large one, I'm wondering if all the small ones made it that large.
