Hello everyone, We have just noticed that our Wisteria is looking very sad, lots of dead leaves, not many green ones. It was probably due to the dry spell, do you think I should cut it back to stimulate new growth? Any help much appreciated.

This is close to the time when they need their first prune so you won't do any harm. I think I would prune it as it is supposed to be prunned, give it a good drink, and see what happens.
I'm not sure if you cut it back hard that it would put on new growth as it has done its growing for this season. You could also risk next years flowers.

I'm sure you will be OK, they are a lot tougher than you'd imagine.
I took some cuttings from mine, one didn't make it so I chucked it in a corner with the intention of emptying the pot when I got round to it. The following year it flowered and began to grow.
