Twice now i've seen a young black and white cat, i've no idea where it might live, on account that cats see the whole world as their playground, but it's not welcome here Whilst sitting in the office just now i heard a squeaky toy being squeaked - except it's not is it ........ that noise is a frog in distress This ****dy cat was terrorising a frog in my front garden Honestly, if it's not one it's another If only i was an E.T. type of creature that could point his long thin finger and a gush of water would come out - i'd have these cats away from here in a jiffy

It looks like we have another cat too, I've spotted it twice hanging around the bird feeders, I think it lives in the field next door. I'm not befriending this one - no honestly I'm not

We have a black and white one that hangs around around the fence, it sits waiting for the birds then up it goes after them . Why the birds? why not the mice?? .

I spotted a box of cat repellent at the GS last time I went, I have no idea if it works but it might be worth a go Louise.

I'll look in the ones here, WF, and see what they're about. Grindle, how do you keep sane there ? ? With luck Dylan will keep them away soon.

I spotted a box of cat repellent at the GS last time I went, I have no idea if it works but it might be worth a go Louise. I've tried several of the repellents, they didn't work One of the members at my garden club said cats don't like the smell of oranges so she soaks old teabags in orange oil and leaves them under wedged up flowerpots around her garden. She reckons this does work but I haven't tried it yet

Cats are 'encouraged' not to enter my bird-friendly garden.

Cat scarer's may do it, they don't like reflective lights apparently... I hung some Cd's to the fence were the cat was using the bed as a littler box. It stopped coming.

I was wondering what happened to cat no. 1 that caused you all that angst with the birds Louise? Is he still around? Don't tell me that cat no. 2 has ganged up with him!

I love all creatures........especially cats What even mice my useless cat still hasn't caught it infact he went to sleep in there while the mouse was still in there, when i came home this afternoon all hell had broken out in G/H as my OH would say 'pots over lumps out' so I dont know whether he's caught it or not, I've now set a trap.

Ive seen the pest (mouse) running across next doors low wall again this afternoon . I don't know were it/they are coming from. The dogs just stand there wagging if they see them useless. My old boy used to be good at catching them (at the old house) perhaps its too much hard work for him now :/. I don't want to set traps or use poison in case anything else gets to it (IE the dogs).
