That must be very frightening Geranium, and worrying too. Poor Henry ... I hope the vet will be able to help tomorrow.

A few of our Swiss. Lupin is Beth's show sow. She's done very well for her winning (I've lost count!) many best Rvs as well as 2nd and 3rds.

Oh they are nice. We kept Guinea Pigs when I was little, always liked how talkative (shouty, in fact!) they were. Jackson is a real poser

One good thing about them is they make a good garden mulch. And are good little lawn mowers. Anything they can eat from the garden they get too. Win win both ways.

The names are lovely. Don't forget Blossom, which was the name of one of my goats.

Our Bad Cat, Linnhe, has eaten some weird things in her time (e.g, mushy peas, has a thing for marzipan, sunflower spread...) But I was really surprised/mad today when she pinched and ate several new potatoes?! I'd just scraped and boiled them, lovely fresh ones that a friend had given me from his plot yesterday, then left them on the side in a saucepan to cool. Never occurred to me the cat'd fish them out and eat them all over the bedroom and hallway carpets - but I guess missing out on the baby blackbird we wouldn't let her eat earlier made her hungry?!
