Bella enjoys sneeking into this cold frame ...
She gets in where there are two panes missing. I'll be mending it soon and then I hope it will hold some plants, but I think I'll have to leave a space for Bella

You'll have to fit a catflap for her Eli! Bella looks very happy in there.

Some very sad news from our little community - Dylan, a tiny Jack Russell, was bitten by an adder yesterday and the vet couldn't save him. RIP, Dylan.

Poor little thing Geranium, I wonder how often that happens, it's not something you hear about generally.

Wasn't aware you had adders down your way Geranium. Thought they were more of a moorland species though I suppose there must be some on Exmoor. Quite a rare incident I should think and distressing for owner.

Being a terrier the poor dog probably threatened it.

Apparently adders are quite common round here, unfortunately. Dylan was a feisty little dog and had already had several near-catastrophes such as falling down a badger sett and over the cliff (twice). He had an eventful life - all four years of it.

Dylan certainly was...so sad. I have a swollen lip this morning - Widget was jumping up onto my lap and his hard little head connected with my face - Ouch!
