How cute My 15 yr old, small and wicked black cat is sitting beside me now. She's taken a break from working on her Daddy-long-legs collection and is poking me (quite gently so far, just a few claws) in case I forget to give her a snack before I go to bed. I hope you have many equally happy/crazy years with Gizzy Can't remember if I said we acquired another old cat. 'Molly' used to belong to another member of my family (who shall remain nameless, and I'm still mad at!) who dumped her on my Mum, who simply got unable to look after her due to age/other issues. Molly's 13, but looked about 19, was skin and bone, needed all the basic stuff, various medicines, plus most her teeth out. So we politely kidnapped her, fixed her up a lot, and let her stuff her face - and she's nearly back to normal, although her tail is still skinny! She was so pleased when I gave her some toys to play with it made me feel all sniffly! She was asleep on the table with this favourite mouse. She's really pretty I just cannot understand why SomeBody - an otherwise perfectly nice person! - would decide they 'just preferred dogs' and pretty much chuck her, after that many years, for three dogs.

I really can't believe the actions of some people I'm glad you've now got Molly Bess and I would think she's happy to be with you too She is very pretty
I had to take Bella to the vet yesterday. I've been hearing a clicking sound with her front right paw when she walked over the 'lino' in the kitchen and the wooden floor in the hall. The vet cut her nails but I can still hear the sound so I'll have to take her back next week. It doesn't seem to be bothering her, and she lets me touch it so it can't be painful.

Decided to take the long walk in the woods yesterday, what a mistake , having got most of the way round Dylan was a bit hot, he disappeared down a bank, he'd found not only water but the deepest peat bog you could wish and was standing up to his back in it wish I'd taken a photo, even after hosing him down he was still dirty, guess he enjoyed his walk
