I'm here to stay for the day Stripes this morning ;D Stripes is a beautiful cat (on a rather pretty bedspread). He is spoilt because Atticus is not allowed on beds or the table and benches.

Thanks Cherry, he's only allowed on the bed, I wont have him on any work tops, I have a friend who has 2 Burmese and there allowed to walk all over kitchen counters while food is being prepared, not my idea of hygiene

They are quick to learn, because remember we have only had Atticus for about 15 months. He looks very like the beautiful Stripes. What a co-incidence. I have a friend with two Burmese and they were allowed to walk all over the work tops. One was fed on there and the other on the floor. Not good.

Atticus caught a stoat today. I saw it run past the hedge, but so did Atticus. He killed it, but didn't want to eat it. He easts rabbits and mice but not moles, rats and now, I know, stoats. In fact this is the first one I have seen here.

Its a shame about the stoat really, it would have been helping to keep the vermin down.

Ooh! I did not know that it might bite. He was lucky then. Stoats are killers themselves Cherry, they kill rabbits for food. You were lucky to see one, they are usually very wary of people.

Its a shame about the stoat really, it would have been helping to keep the vermin down. It is Tel, but that is nature. The funny thing is, the cat does not show any interest at all in the dozens of birds which feed right next to him. The birds don't worry about him either.

I lost my earthwalker and sparky sunflowers today. I planted 3 rows of them right beside fencing in between goat and horse grass patch. One cranky old billy goat chomped off a sunflower and the rest had a taste test as well. Now all the sunflowers are headless Goats are frustrating pets.

Jrae I used to keep Saanen and Toggenburg goats. I loved them to bits. I won't ever do this again because they are worse than dogs for attention and mine would hold up their milk if they were being milked when we were away.
