I am quite sure the cat suffered stress. The tractor had a skirt around the bottom so no dust came out. In fact, it reached a metre away from my washing line which had washing on it. Atticus took a few days to go near the fields which were where he made his living. He is now getting used to the bare look and is searching for rabbits in the edge which is a long way off now.
That fox came so close to you, it almost certainly passed on the ringworm. Henry will soon be over it, but you will remember this horrible time.

We certainly will, Cherry. We did the third treatment last evening. This time, I managed to get him to put his feet into the empty tray (bribery!) and then OH poured the 'jollop' in. It made it much easier to wash him down with it, but he kept lifting one of his front feet up, then the other. I'm wondering if it stings? We both think he isn't scratching quite as much, so we'll keep an eye on him after this latest session.

I don't think it would sting. In fact, if he is not scratching as much, it must be quite soothing. He just does not like it and this would cause him to lift his feet.

I'm sure he will appreciate it eventually when he's feeling better. We are still trying to find what it causing Dylan's ear problem as it flared up again last week, he's on antibiotics and steroids now and will be having weekly visits until he has had 3 clear weeks, he does have allergies that showed up in the blood tests and his thyroid count although in the normal scale is on the low side

Our pets do cause us worries, don't they. I hope they get Dylan sorted out soon. I looked at photos of dogs with Ringworm (on various websites) and none of them looked like what Henry has. I must just trust the vets, I suppose. They did do extensive tests before diagnosing his problem, after all. I wish I knew how long it takes to clear up. I hate seeing him so uncomfortable.

Not just ear mites then Grindle? it seems not Cherry, his allergies are to dust mite and moulds but he's still not sure what is the trigger. The steroids seem to have calmed it down a lot so hopefully we will win. I've been washing carpets, bedding and floors in the hope that will help, but at the end of the day it's anyones guess

I do hope Dylan has improved since your last update. We completed the cycle of treatments for Henry yesterday evening. He was angel dog this time! He stepped into the tray himself, and stood there patiently while OH washed the 'jollop' onto him. I was very proud of him. I just hope it's done the trick. Next we have to get an appointment for more tests at the vet hospital to see if the ringworm has gone. I suspect that it hasn't, unfortunately, as he's still scratching although only occasionally now, not constantly.

He is allergic to dogs, cats, dust mite and wool but thinks I would keep the house clean for a dog's health as dogs are high on my priority list.

Henry has now decided he likes the attention. What a good dog, and it must be the right treatment by the sound of it. You are getting there!

Henry has now decided he likes the attention. What a good dog, and it must be the right treatment by the sound of it. You are getting there! He is a good boy usually, Cherry. I just hope we have got rid of the Ringworm. Although he's insured, the blankety-blank Insurance Company want a proportion of the bill from me! This is over and beyond the excess I already pay each year, and the huge jump in the premium. I bet it's hidden in the 'small print' somewhere.

Update: I thought you'd like to know that Henry is beginning to look a lot better. He actually brought me his ball so I could play with him! His coat is growing back, too. He has an appointment at the vet hospital on Tuesday for more tests - then we'll see what the upshot is; and if he needs more treatment - but he rarely scratches now and seems happier.
