Well, his test results came back yesterday, and he's clear of ringworm, so no more claims will be going in. Thank goodness we won't have to go through the 'jollop' process any more! Now I can put my greenhouse tray back where it belongs. ;D The fur on his paws has grown back at last, too, although it hasn't really under his arm-pits yet. It's a much larger area, so it'll take time.

Thank you - and you're so right! It hasn't exactly been easy, all that 'jolloping'. I know it sounded funny, but it was actually very hard work. I'm just so pleased that Henry isn't uncomfortable any more.

Thanks - he does seem livelier now, as well. He follows me round the garden, which he hasn't done for a while. Thank goodness he's feeling (and looking) better!

sweet bird Got the all clear from the vet this morning, Dylan's ear has cleared nicely, still need to finish antibiotics, then wean him off the steroids, hopefully then that will be the end of it, he's getting a bit podgy with them

Awww i love quails they're so cute ! We had a baby quail chick called penguin at school but it got ill and died unexpectedly
