No, the vet doesn't think it helps enough to warrant any more. Its effect only lasts a very short while; a matter of hours - so even though Henry loves it, we've cancelled the appointment.

That's a shame Geranium but I suppose if the benefits don't justify the expense they wouldn't want to carry on with it.

His vet looks at his quality of life, and Henry is very lucky to have a large garden to roam in. It means that his lack of walking time is not as bad as a dog with a teeny garden!

Pixie's kittens are gorgeous sweetpea. I missed this pic earlier. You do your best for Henry Geranium and you reach a stage where you can't do any more but keep him comfortable and exercised within his confines. He will be quite happy.

He's a happy dog, Cherry, and we love him. I just hope his arthritis doesn't get worse, which it might.

When Henry's arthritis gets worse Geranium, he might be ready to slow down. However, you might notice it in the winter. I must tell you about the neighbour's dog and his crook leg. He had a cruciate ligament operation about three years ago, but has hurt his leg again and has to stay off it. When I commiserated with him and patted his head, he lifted up the bad back leg. It did make us laugh and I wanted to try it again. What a soppy Labrador.

Poor Henry & 'the lab with the crook leg' , they can have such sad, appealing expressions on their faces can't they. It's reminded me of a lady who walks around here all the time with 2 Jack Russells , she never stops, she passes our house & I meet her down the road in all weathers. She pushes a secondhand double baby buggy & if they get tired or have sore legs the dogs hop into the buggy! Both of them were in it this morning!

Well, I won't be doing that. I certainly couldn't lift 32k of Labrador - and he wouldn't get in by himself.

I can just picture you pushing him along in one Geranium ! It's amazing what they can do for pets nowadays though isn't it , hopefully Henry will have a long, happy & pain free future.

The lady with the buggy for her dogs sounds like a real character SueA.

She is Cherry , she always chats about the weather & usually about how many layers of underwear she has on in the winter! Her dogs are lovely little things , she used to have just one but started looking after one for a friend & adopted it. She never seems to stop walking & the dogs only have short legs!

That is nice SueA. She obviously lives for her dogs and they must keep her in good health. My winter layers weigh me down underneath and over the top but no-one meets me on my walks with the dogs.

This is not my pet but it's Ginger who likes to sleep in our garden, he usually sleeps under the trees by the little pond where it's quiet & dry but today he's found a new spot! I'm not sure if it's just because it's fairly dry in there or whether he's been looking for the squirrel who was there the other day, he did spot that when it hopped off over the fence! Luckily there is nothing in the cell trays underneath him!

They are all gorgeous. I am a sucker for kittens sweetpea and your part time ginger SueA is very pretty too. The tabby is unusual and appears to have zebra markings.
