Aww, Poppy is gorgeous. Love Gandalf's face markings btw - he reminds me of Zorro, all masked and mysterious!

Aren't you lucky that your lovely cats get on well Fractal? Poppy is beautiful and the name is great. I would have another, but Atticus is not friendly to other cats. He was nasty to his daughter when she was here.

Thanks everyone. She is a pretty girl and has a nice nature. Yes Cherry, I suppose I'm lucky (and Poppy) that Gandalf is so laid back.

A friend up the lane lost her dog recently, and they have a new rescue dog - she's a gorgeous, sweet-natured gentle animal, but people in the vet's surgery were apparently very nervous of her. Why? Because she's a Doberman. Sheila says people steer clear of her when she's out walking, too. Such a shame that a whole breed is given a bad name by a few. It's the owners' fault in the training and treatment, not the nature of the dog.

Poppy's lovely Steve N, we had a cat very much like her called Emma. I would love another one but Levi wouldn't. Sue, he caught 2 more the following day but this time they were dead and he left them on the path down to the greenhouse, bless him

Two of the kittens gone today to a young couple. One or two tears shed along the way as we have got very attached to them. At least they took two, one tabby and one black.

That is really good sweetpea. I am sure it will be a good home for them, especially as they were happy to have two.

It's sad to see them go, but you couldn't keep them all, so I'm pleased they have a new home.

I'm glad you're finding good homes for the kittens - they're so sweet. I had a long session at the vets yesterday with our two cats, some basic stuff as well as Amber has bad tummy troubles. She's having tests and I'm trying to find a good, really plain food for her, without all the colouring and vegetables that most brands have... that doesn't cost a fortune.

Bess I do hope you don't have to buy it from the vet then. You will need to try to buy one elsewhere at a better price. Being carnivores, vegetables should not really be in their diet. I do get meds from Bestpet online. You could look there.
