We took him for his check up and another injection this morning and he let the vet know he was not impressed. He has to go back again on Monday for another jab.

Ooh poor James. I remember one of my parents cats had problems with that years ago, it's pretty horrible and uncomfy isn't it. Glad he's got some fire back

Moira phoned from North Queensland today and her cocker spaniel has had that nasty pancreatitus. Her dog is in the vet hospital just now with an undiagnosed problem and was on a drip. He is coming out tomorrow. That is why I mentioned James daitheplant.

Aw, that's quite funny KC , little Bob is either leading Harry astray or else Harry is scratching saying ' help Mum, get me away from this little pest who keeps waking me up!' It's a funny situation at ours at the moment with the two rascals lol. Bob is now caged at night and it's working a treat, he doesn't seem to mind, infact he seems to love it, I guess it's what he's used to and was trained to. He's so funny in the mornings, he comes in hyper with either a blanket or a teddy and walks/runs around with it as cute as anything, then he goes out and gets his other teddy, then his other blanket, then Harry's teddy, then sometimes his bed and sometimes Harry's bed lol he's mental lol, it's only then he goes out to pee.
We were told he only poos on grass so when he was whining we took him for a walk thinking he needed to poo as he didn't always we were worried he was going to get wee tummy pains, then this morning I noticed he has been pooing on the bark on my raspberry plants don't you's dare laugh!!! I couldn't believe my eyes wee rascal, and he's been chewing my canes lol I'd be spitting mad if he weren't as cute lol, I'd have noticed sooner had I not have been laid up with my broken toe!
When I'm using the spray to water the plants he plays with the water jet lol he tries to get a bit of water, he's getting more brave wee cutie.
We got him jammies too, Harry has a wee hoody, Bob now has a checked shirt, he looks like a lumberjack well we don't like putting them out at night without something on them to keep them warm.
Bob's still chewing Harry's ears lol and Harry's still letting him lol

You could still train Bob to do it where you want him to go KC. My last cocker, Brodie, wore a child's tee shirt and was tucked into a blanket at night and Sammy always got jealous of this. He just gets the blanket as his coat is quite different and very thick. He did not have it last night as it was too warm. I will wash and put it away for winter use.

Bob's not used to being outside, so I am keeping his coat on him (not too thick) just for a wee while yet until the weather warms up a little.
I am persevering with him, when he whines I walk outside, when he follows me I tell him to poo 'out here', he scratches the back gate looking out and I say 'no Bob, you poo out here' so I'm hoping it will eventually sink in. Son has been walking him lately due to my toe and he has said he hasn't pood so that's maybe a good sign that this is working. Now I just need to get him to avoid my raspberry plants lol
I maybe could try putting a basin of bark in the yard and set him in it when he needs to poo. Any other suggestions?

Sorry KC , I did laugh! I bet they look really cute together in the 'onesie' & 'lumberjack' outfits. It probably would be a good idea to put down a tray with a bit of compost or bark in it, the only problem would be you'd need a good supply of it to keep changing it.
