I've often heard folk say that tea bags are good for plants/soil, well I thought I'd do a little test afterall it is a sort of compost. Guess which one is tea bags ;D

I'd say left and also say you've confirmed not good for seedlings ;D but ok as a mulch for acid lovers

It must be the left hand plant pot because that one is lacking nutrients required when the seed has germinated.

Reminds me of brother in laws mother who when tea bags first came out said 'I don't think much to these new things' she was snipping them open with scissors to get to the tea ;D

I can remember when steel wool first had that pink soap stuff in them. My mother thought they were the greatest. We can't go back, whether it is tea or steel wool.

Not wishing to hijack Merlins thread but I bet you can remember cutting stamps off brook bond tea and bon coffee with a razor blade.....I can't ;D

My main use for used teabags was to soak them in Renardine and dot them around the garden to deter foxes. (It worked too)
