I had a little saunter to a local GC this morning and came home with a car-ful

Whilst i was there a stocktake was in progress and a 50% reduction going on too - i spent loadsa money ;D ;D
I bought perennials and a shrub, will list them all later

Meant to say ..... it's a Wyevale, so this could well be happening across the countrys branches this weekend.

Right, here they are ;D

Shrub rose Noble Anthony, it's got the most gorgeous smell (this was cut right back but there were some full-priced ones in flower and the smell was divine)

and grows to about 3-4' with pretty pink blooms

Buddleia davidii 'Black Knight', Geranium persuaded me to get rid of the previous one

, so i bought another

I also bought Buddleia d. 'Beijing' too, G

Sidalcea 'Little Princess', grows to 2' and has pretty pale pink flowers very similar to those of my Cichorium.

Phygelius 'Funfare Yellow'.
Dahlia 'Melody Gipsy'.
Echinacea 'Mistral', a dwarf form.
Salvia 'Pink Friesland'.
Aster aramis 'blue' aswell as 'white', low growers.
Viola 'Miracle, Intense Blue' - very fragrant

I spent £60, so i'm chuffed to bits with my haul and the savings, the good thing aswell is that it contributes to the money off vouchers i get bi-monthly ;D

I've planted half of them now and i've got blisters all over my right hand, from digging

Cherry, they will all go into the front garden too !
There are several borders, some infront of hedges and some flanking the front path and some at either end - you need to imagine a 4 sided room with partitions and that's where the planting is. There is at least 70% less grass than there originally was !

SP, surprisingly, everything grows very well here, considering the dryness of the site !

And Tel, stop it, don't encourage me
