I bought two of these yesterday and although i've searched i can't find anything lengthy or substantial about them, the searches threw up sites that didn't give much of either.
Does/has anyone grown them ..... i'd like to know more about them from peole who've experienced them.

found a slovenian site that sells them, they are shown as 'Aramis white' or Aramis rose' so I suspect it is a varietal name or a hybrid. late flowering, full sun 35-45 cm tall. cant find out any more at the moent.
hope you are well.

Hadn't heard of these either. Not listed on the RHS Plantfinder so no idea. Must be a variety name, probably Dutch (despite the French connotation). They seem to name plants to suit themselves and to increase sales "Oh I don't have that variety" when you may already have it in your garden under its official name.

Hmmm, it's queer isn't it how there's so little info about them, i too thought i would have found something at the RHS, thanks for looking though.

I emailed a site in solvenia and they say their full label says its an Aster dumosa but they dont think it is a pure for and only use the varietal name as they think it is a complex hybrid. treat it and grow it as A.dumosa and it wil thrive.
hope this helps Louise.
