Hmmm, there seems to be a new con, via Spam ..... watch your emails for HMRC advising of tax rebates because i'm sure the one i've received today isn't true ! I've not clicked onto any of the links within the text and have a meeting with my accountant anyway in a week so i'll see what he says then ..... i'm highly doubtful of any meaty sums being paid to me though because it's always the other way round  Watch this space ! |

That's being going round for a while, definitely a con, it's another one where they wouldn't send you an email out of the blue & anything offering you money back from the government is as likely to be true as Steve & Tel. being teetotal! ;D

I've had this a few times too, how on earth would the tax folks get your email esp if you hadn't been in touch with them... I am actually terrified of how many of my secret bank accounts have been suspended   |
