It is just reinforcing the message that we must keep bird feeders clean. We should do the same for water baths too, of which I have four, two of which are in very regular use. In this area, we can't leave stagnant water anyway or the giant mozzies breed.

At one time Norfolk fen people were known as 'yellow bellies' because of a form of malaria which tended to make their skins jaundiced. I found some of these in a plant pot with no holes and I saw the full grown version last night which is no more. They are very large.

They must have been Lilliputians Cherry, either that or it was a rather large pot. ;D
