I got it from Parkers as one of their offers (cheap as chips ;D) this is it's second year and first flowers

I didn't mind the small size as they grow quite quickly, it's now just over 4ft

I agree. I wouldn't grow either of them. I'd love a Buddleja alterniflora, though! The eternal problem - no space. <sigh>.
