Never heard of a smart phone. I've got a pay as you go mobile, but it's switched off and I don't know where it is. It's all moving too fast for me to keep up.

I have a smart phone and wouldn't be without it.It's practically welded to my hand! Even in the garden!!! I get all my e mails through it, Google at will, text and call, take and e mail pics and videos straight away - the only thing it doesn't do is to make me a cup of tea!! I pay £20 a month and the phone came free with the contract Love it!!!!!!

Merlin, do you think my £20 per month is dear ? I'm sure i've got one of the cheapest deals I do. I put £10 credit on my phone four years ago and I still have £3 left ;D

My mobile phone was given to me by my boys a few years ago when they were expensive. I was asked if I wanted a new one, but I am still more than happy with the one I have. I send mainly texts and can text all my children overseas as well as Rosie when we are in a hurry.

I've had mine for 6 weeks now and I wouldn't be without it. It's welded to my hand and I love it, love it, love it.I carry it around the garden with me and it has its own spots in the potting shed and greenhouse I'd hate to be left behind and it would be embarrassing to be one of those old people you see toting a brick ;D

That would be me, too - except that I dropped my old Nokia so I got a new phone. It doesn't do anything except make or receive calls - no camera, music, internet, nothing. It's on 'pay as you go' and is for emergencies like calling the RAC! OK, so I'm a dinosaur! I admit it! ;D
