That would be me, too - except that I dropped my old Nokia so I got a new phone. It doesn't do anything except make or receive calls - no camera, music, internet, nothing. It's on 'pay as you go' and is for emergencies like calling the RAC! OK, so I'm a dinosaur! I admit it! ;D Me too Geranium, I've got one the same ;D

I have a mobile phone not sure I would say it was smart more amazing!! takes brilliant photos and HD video, edits them etc, I bluetooth them over to my computer in minutes. I get the internet, my emails face book, twitter.......it knows what I am going to text before I know!! it has loads of apps (free too) lots of games to amuse the grandchildren. and me when waiting to see the dentist. it even makes phone calls!! and all for £20.00 per month, only problem it does not make a cuppa and wont do the ironing, still what can you cannot expect it at that price ;D

For me a 'special offer' of 50% off something that I only use 20% of isn't a 'good deal. Same with TV, I pay far more for the licence than most as I don't watch it much. Having said that, watching Nigel Kennedy at the 'Proms' was worth a whole months licence.

Last week when driving along one of these mountain roads round here, the exhaust suddenly fell off the car Neither of us had our mobiles ( I don't know where mine is anyway : So I had to walk nearly a mile to the nearest farmhouse to ask if I could borrow their phone .... So they do come in handy sometimes, even if it's only in an emergency. But a simple one does for me.
