I'm glad the chef takes it away and cooks it. I love squid but I couldn't eat it if it was dancing on my plate, it takes sushi a little too far.
The squid was dead but oysters aren't when they are eaten. I'll try most things but I have yet to muster the courage to slip a live oyster down my throat.

I've had oysters shooters once - in a tiny spirit glass, you just about cover the oyster with tomato juice, then the vodka and down the hatch ! Had rather a few ;D

I certainly won't! I'm not into seafood either. OH likes it though - on holiday he eats what I call 'rubber bands' and mussels and so on. Not for me, thanks.
