The garage folks have let us down for the past 3 weeks Hywel, Graham is most upset that his old P6 has been sitting out all that time It is much nicer today ;D

Let's hope it dries up for you then. What a lot of rain you had!

You seem to have had more than your fair share of rain. I bet that down-pour was exciting though

Hope your fuchsia hasn't drowned Rosie! The car/bike standing there all exposed reminded me of the other garage you lost before, looks like it's been blown away!

It's all a bit worrying, I watched a prog on TV last night all about rain, basically as the climate warms we'll get mre rain !! Here we've had little yet though.

It does seem like we are getting more rain it is just not evenly distributed. We have had the driest winter and summer for 11 years.

I checked up on the position of the jet steam, it normally skirts the top of Scotland...it is now about half way down Britain! it it doesn't move north again we will have another shocking winter It also accounts for all the rain we have have had this summer. The front bed drained very quickly, we, and by 'we' i mean Graham ;D is working the ground for me, doing new beds etc so the compacted ground has been opened up which helped it drain away easier

Little things please little minds ;D It's just so refreshing standing out in the rain, and i like the way my hair sits(not that i am fussy about my scraggy mop ) after the rain. Plus summer rain sometimes has the best smell ;D

I bet that down-pour was exciting though It was Sue, the heavens just opened, it was quite dramatic and of course i stood outside in it with no jacket or brolly ;D ;D I remember once in Singapore during a water shortage (yes they have them there too) the water was cut off and we had to fill the bath with water when it was on for using for everything. Anyway there was a tropical downpour so I stripped off and went out into the walled garden for a shower. just got covered in soapy lather when the rain stopped. I had to try and get the soap off by splashing from the puddles. Not a pretty sight
