Yes I do, I think you would struggle without one. Ours cost £2 at the car boot, it was the best £2 I ever spent. If I had to choose between my bread machine and my pasta machine, I'd choose the pasta. Esther, the recipe 1 egg per 100g of flour and a pinch of salt. One egg is a generous portion for one person, 3 eggs makes enough for four people. Knead it all together until it is smooth, leave it to stand for 15 minutes wrapped in cling film. Work with dough about the size of a golf ball, wind it through the machine on the widest setting, fold it over and wind it through again, repeat 3 times. Wind it through the machine reducing the setting each time, when you are down to setting 3 put it through the spaghetti bit.

Rosie is going to have to teach me how to be a moderator. Good one Rosie. ;D I think you are doing just fine with the 'slapping wrists' approach, I've lost count of the number of posts I've deleted because you'd slap my wrists, I'm sure I'm not alone, you keep us under control.

It did have me worried, but I don't want to spoil this topic. I saw your name Grindle and thought perhaps you have got the machine. I must have a look, but I don't think I will be getting one.

I’m not sure if I posted about the Lasagne I made for my sister and the associated hoards. If I did I apologise for repeating myself but it is worth repeating to put the phone call I have just received into contexts.
When my sister was over I said I would be making a lasagne, it didn’t go down well. All but one winged, “I don’t like pasta”, “I don’t like mince”, “I’ve never tried it but I don’t think I’d like it”. Undeterred I made it anyway, they could try it and if they didn’t like it they could have a sandwich. They all tried a little then asked for more and then had thirds, result
So, the phone call. My sister just rang from Spain to ask how I made the tomato sauce for the lasagne, her family had all asked if she would make one like they had here. I gave her the recipe for the sauce and was about to move on to the pasta when she explained she was using dried pasta and the cheese sauce would be from a jar. I think she missed the point.
If you don’t have a machine, lasagne would be a good one to try.

Oh dear. That would upset me terribly. OK. I might try the lasagne as husband is not keen on Italian so he does not want me to get a machine. I love Italian food. I like Greek food too as befits someone who comes from the second largest Greek city in the world.
