Just received my car insurance renewal quota for next month. It costs me £43.97 a month now, the renewal from Oct they are quoting £73.97 a month. Now that is inflation for you.

I hope you are shopping around. We have actually been quoted cheaper insurance from the company we were already with on Go Compare and yet we had been told it was going up. Once they have you, they think you will just keep on paying because they have your details. Start thinking about husband insuring the plane. That gets changed around and the quotes from other companies are sent to them. A lot of haggling goes into this. This saving amounts to hundreds of pounds. He can't get a bigger plane because of the cost of insurance.

That is an improvement. It is the same deal from them all and it is very competitive at present.
