don't think I'd fancy having to walk past that bull, it's huge, love the donkey though It's years since I've been to the New Forest, but I always loved it there

The donkey is lovely I remember the horses in the new forrest when we went there years ago. They're very tame. I wouldn't want a bull so near my house as that. I remember when I was little, sometimes a heard of cattle would escape from a nearby field and wander up our road. One of them came in the garden once, and I can remember my mother screaming when she saw her peering in through the kitchen window lol We have animals roaming freely on these hills around here, but they don't come into the villages and towns. It's nice to see them Great photos Esther

Donkeys always look so sad don't they, that little one is really lovely though, wonder where they were from? I'd be terrified if that bull wandered past here! There used to be a stables on land at the end of our road & occasionally years ago you'd see 3 or 4 horses trotting off down the road when they'd escaped!
