It went very cold & clear last night & down to 4 degrees so we may have had a frost in the night but it was cold & damp by this morning, brightened up a bit but grey & a bit drizzly now.

It wasn't very sunny, but it was warm enough to be pleasant after a chilly start.

He seems very thorough Cherry, the moving pointer/finger got on my nerves a bit though! I've saved the site though to check the other reports on it & have a look at the tutorials.

Simon did seem to take a lot of factors into consideration. I got irritated by the arrow bobbing about, too!
Here it started off sunny and mild, but now it's cloudy and the temps. have dropped.

It is nippy here. The OH has been studying sun spots, there is a link between the number of sun spots and the temperature. When there has been little sun spot activity we get cold winters. Sun spot activity is cyclic. We have just been through a cycle of very few sun spots but they are now on the increase, this would suggest our winters will begin to warm up again although we are not out of the woods yet. This graph shows sun spot activity, all the troughs where there were few sun spots do coincide with cold winters.

That is too scientific for me, but we don't want to suffer the cold winters of the last two years.

We're having some lovely days lately, the mornings being absolutely gorgeous. We've a clear sky with the sun coming up over the hill infront of the house
