Those decorations are such a shame, I doubt very much if they can be re-hung. Batten down the hatches Rosie, you have some nasty winds to contend with. (like you need telling ) Down here is just plain grotty, drizzle and a bit of wind.

Have seen some film of Scotland on the news, wouldn't like to be up near Rosie or Scotkat's part of the world! It was windy & a bit warmer this morning & then around lunch it went mad, gale force winds & belting rain. The new(ish) wooden rose obelisk lifted out of the ground & across the garden & one of my little wooden bird houses has lost it's bottom! Pushed the obelisk back in place as it's not so fierce a wind now , hope it's still there tomorrow! ;D

Saw that Rosie and buses and trains off and damaged buildings.
And this is not even snow damage folk.
We still have to face this over the weekend.
Take care Rosie

Sorry Scotkat, I forget you are up there too. If I wasn't so thick, the user name might just of given it away. You take care too.

We are as battened down as we can be Sue, the winds have swung around towards the north now and it's just battering, there was a 165mph gust measured on Cairngorm. My poor polytunnel will now be getting the full brunt of whats been claimed are hurricane force winds

We have had about 10 minutes heavy rain, but it didn't leave a puddle.

I saw the forecast, it looked like you were going to get more than that.
We were supposed to have green rain but only got light drizzle. I wonder who got it all?

The cloud went straight to medium level, and my husband said it is only a shower so take the dogs out later. I did not believe him and went out in it. The dogs did not like it and looked like they were walking on high heels.

I hope he didn't say 'I told you so' when you got back. I'm lucky, Tonks is an old lady now and a crow bar wouldn't get her out of the house when it's raining.
