The Council propose rents of £200 a year. The present rent is £67 for a full plot, makes you wonder if other councils will follow suite, with councils having to cut down on expenditure.

They're not doing much for the environment and all that. Trouble is they know there are lots on the waiting list. It's a scandal. Could you all get together and create some publicity. Like the WI. You could all pose in the all-together claiming you can't afford cloths and rent

I've heard of other places where the Council have seen an opportunity to cash in. Our village has just opened one but though it has all mod-cons, I'm not sure it would be a viable proposition if you were in it to save money.
