The Daily mail out sells all other dailies and I for one believe it and am sure that SP would agree with me as to what should happen the the scum that stole it. There are far too many people who enjoy living in the UK and who call themselves British but are sworn to do down our heritage and who's allegiance lies far away. Fortunately the silent majority of us support out Queen and Country.....and buy the Daily Mail. Oops!.......we are all entitled to an opinion.....provided we have done our research properly. I see Blossom has decided to leave us and join in as a "guest"....well that is her perogative....but I did object to her "slur" on The Alnwick Garden. and its perpetrator...which you all know is "my baby".. Here in Great Britain" we have the privilege of "free speech"....and are entitled to read whichever newspapers we want to and highlight articles we think may be of interest to our Forum Friends.....Sorry Blossom....its your loss  |

As I understand it what blossom said constitutes flaming which is frowned upon by anyand all self respecting internet forums and is usually removed by moderators when noticed.
Another point which some people seem to overlook is that although this particular forum is garden orientated this particular thread is in the NON gardening section of which many here have contributed over the years.
I think I can safely say that we also contribute to any gardening topic that we feel knowledgeable enough to do.
I know I certainly do although there are times when I remain silent as I have no expertise/experience/interest in a topic.
I do not belong to the BNP or indeed any other political party. I am ex service and take my oath to defend Queen & country seriously.
As to the national newspapers available I choose the Mail over the others, most, if not all I have read over the years.
i seem to recall certain stories of a bus at the south pole and other outlandish tales of fiction but not in the mail. Nor is the mail in the habit of publishing salacious pics to attract the great illiterates.

I am very liberal in my views and i believe anyone should be able to read any newspaper they wish to without being victimised, a bugbear of mine is opinionated people as i have said before and if you choose a particular party, paper, football team, area to live etc etc then good for you but no need to press those wishes on to others, live and let live ...offending rants have been removed ....as will be any further offending rants
