We will be signing the contract for the new house and picking up the keys on the 4th May. So the packing and moving the plants starts again, but once we are in, we can start on the garden, because there is nothing to do in the house. Thats such great news Tel, you both must be tickled pink ;D Apart from having to pack everything up again.

Yesterday i took the base of our greenhouse down to the house, the paved area at the side of the hut will have to be widened by about 6in to get the greenhouse on there. We met the couple we are renting the property off yesterday, they seem to be very nice, they told us they hope we are going to stay long term. They did say to let them know when we have erected the greenhouse. because they are going to replace the back fence and he is going to move the garden gate further over away from where the greenhouse will be. He did say the new fence will be no higher than the original one, so not to block our view. When they left they give us their phone number so we do not have to go through the estate agent to contact them with any problems we may come across.

They sound very decent Tel. In so many ways this was all meant.

Hope it all works out well for you Tel, your new landlords sound reasonable people. Just all the hard work of erecting the greenhouse and deciding on the layout of your new garden and looking after all your dahlias ;D

Tel had a successful move and is already enjoying the open view instead of the back of another house.

Tel thinks he should be back on the forum on 7th June. It does take a long while. He has made a start on putting up the greenhouse, but it was too hot.
