We are used too having houses over looking us at the back and front, so this makes up for having a slighter smaller garden at the back when we sit out.

you can think of yourselves and landowners with all that open space to look at ;D when you add up the space front and back, you have plenty of planting oportunity

The raised beds on the walls, i liked that idea when we did the viewing.

That is going to look lovely Tel. Like Grindle said, it all adds up to lots of planting opportunity and you will never feel closed in with the open fab view at the back.
