A spa day sounds lovely if Pen likes that sort of thing, I wouldn't fancy it myself but I'm a bit 'odd'! ;D Merlin you could have a manicure & some 'threading' done, my O.H. went to a new barber's the other day & he usually has his eyebrows trimmed, they asked if he'd like them tidied up a bit by threading & he said yes (he'd no idea what it was!) & came home saying his head felt raw as the guy had 'ripped the hairs out with string(cotton!)' ;D

Well you certainly learn things on here, keeping up appearance sounds positively painful !, I won't even ask what a B,S and C is ;D I'll look into the Spa thing, I think there's one nearby. As for my own appearance, I'll carry on cleaning my nails with a Stanley knife and trimming eyebrows while I'm doing my nose n' ears ;D

We've given up on birthday presents. We just treat each other to a meal out. We find that's enough.

I don't go out to dinner because Christmas parties take over restaurants at my birthday time. It is also very cold and my birthday is when I get homesick.

If you buy either of those for her, how about buying her a good set of kitchen knifes as well? Then she could carve the meat and two veg, YOURS ;D Owtch !!! which reminds me, I wonder how Mr Bobbit is getting on ;D OK if it's not to be something useful, what about some pampering.....not from me she's used to that but one of these places where they cut your nails and massage your joints? I did allow her to have an extended tea break this afternoon, she fell asleep in the middle of GQT ! Apparently 'it' was sewn back on and he now is extremely rich after working...'alternative' movies ;D ;D ;D
