At least with Wilkies you know where you are, Half price is Half price. Some 'offers' look cheap but there's not much in the pkt. I suppose Wilkies are clearing their shelves for C*******s

Unfortunately, the Wilkies in Bridgwater always displays very poorly plants - uncared for and unwatered - mostly dead, really! :oI can't get there to look for bulbs this week, or I'd see if they have the half-price ones.

I suppose each is different depending on that particular managers skills, ours is usually fine with plants, on the odd occasion some have dried out and look poor you can snap them up at a good price and revive them if you are quick I did get a Trachycarpus fortunei 4 or 5 years ago for about 3.95 this is now a size that would be 50 or 60 pounds in a garden centre and laughed at last winters frosts
