I have one but it struggles in a hot dry place beside the oil tank. Maybe I should respect it more because it is a pretty shrub.

Is yours a mature and established plant, Cherry ? The hot dry sites aren't suitable then, i must read-up somemore.

So many shrubs are struggling here with the lack of water. Remember I told you about the pink hawthorn suffering too. I just can't water everything and it is dust dry in some areas.

I've seen them growing in the hedgerows. Would look great in a garden I think.

When i was digging yesterday, 10" below the top the soil was dust dry too, i was surprised. I was planting the hawthorn tree.

Is there now, i regularly pass there but never had the time to stop to see. no, I think I got that wrong, as these are evergreen, could be japonicus, I know they have bright colour seed heads, sorry, my mistake.
