Grindle, I did not know that mobile phone chargers should not be left on. Thankyou for the warning.

I iron sitting down in the kitchen, and there I have a fire blanket hanging on the wall and a foam sprayer in the corner on the worktop. Actually, this came off the boat, but now I am more than pleased to have it there.

I get a rap across the knuckles if he finds my phone charger or my laptop lead left on in a plug, kids huh!

;D but I do know he's right.

I have felt a bit rubbish today but hopefully will be able to sleep tonight - I really was very frightened by the fire - it could have been so much worse though - thank goodness for fire alarms !!
I will need a new iron but the ironing board has survived - it needs new padding and cover. I hate ironing at the best of times - this experience hasn't helped

I love my greenhouses!
