I made some of these for pressies last Christmas...I have one as well (naturally!!)....they are sooo easy to knit arn't they Kath....and sooooo warm ;D

I am sure you would Ester a bit tricky at first as its totaly different from knitting with wool.
You cast on your 8st then knit as normal but you are picking up a lace stitch and using the stitch to knit your loop.

They are very easy Esther...if you have the right yarn....I can't remember what it's called...Rico ....its like a "tape" rather than a conventional yarn.....

Esther a ruffle scarf is so easy. After making one of these, in a day, you would not give a shop money for one.
