Novelty value meant we stood by the meter saying 'we've just earned 46p, and another 46p, and another etc'. Then we tested how much we could do with the free electricity, we did two loads of washing, vacuumed, cooked lunch and still pumped some back into the grid.

I thought making housework free might make it more tolerable but it didn't ;D
