Its my kind of music, but its unfortunate the soloist does not have a soloist's voice. I saw the programme that led up to them singing for the Royal Family....such lovely ladies and a very emotional motive.....I wish them well

I absolutely agree with that Lou. I have no problem with the whole ethos of the song, but the soloist auditioned for that part, so what are the others like?

I absolutely agree with that Lou. I have no problem with the whole ethos of the song, but the soloist auditioned for that part, so what are the others like? The others had a good "rounded" sound...you don't need a fab. voice to sing in a choir....just able to hold a tune and be sympathetic and supportive of your "group" i.e. alto, soprano etc.,.....it is team work..and most importantly....keep your eye on the conductor at all times ...I suspectt no one else would do the solo
