The others had a good "rounded" sound...you don't need a fab. voice to sing in a choir....just able to hold a tune and be sympathetic and supportive of your "group" i.e. alto, soprano etc.,.....it is team work..and most importantly....keep your eye on the conductor at all times

...I suspectt no one else would do the solo
