Did any of you watch last nights prog on Rolls Royce? an excellent prog and it's good to see that GB can still hold it's head up. With all the money and skills in the USA they are using Derby Trent engines in their new 'Dreamliner' Three cheers for RR ;D

It certainly is - and without getting political, it doesn't help when contracts are awarded overseas.

When it to 'overseas', globalisation has overtaken all that. I'm fairly optimistic about the future.....medium term ! Many items imported have UK clever bits in them or have UK financial benefits. So long as we are involved and keep ourselves employed I don't see a problem. It would be nice to see that label 'Made in Britain' more often though. I think I'll wear a label 'Made in Britain'

Well I'm not surprised, they can't go wrong with a Prime Minister called Julia ;D

You got that one in Merlin. I think your Julia is on the slippery slope with that quite bad programme she is doing.

Goodness, I was waiting for a disagreement. She could have been over-exposed as she was doing a lot of work for BBC.
